A Love Letter from God – Review

Beautiful, fun new kids book

AJ and I were given the opportunity to review a beautiful new children’s book, A love Letter from God. It was written by P.K. Hallinan, illustrated by Laura Watson, and published by Ideals Children’s Books.

A Love Letter from God is a fun little book where the author writes what she feels God might say in a personal letter written to a child. Throughout the book God’s love is shown in simple to understand, lyrical language.

I love you, My child! What more can I say? To Me, you are perfect in every way!

It is a hardback book with very thick and durable pages. Each page has beautiful illustrations and shaped cutouts including; hearts, stars, clouds, and circles.

What We Liked

We both fell in love with the colorful pictures. The cutouts in the pages added a fun element and really livened up the already lifelike illustrations. The book is short and to the point, but an enjoyable read. I like that AJ was able to read it to me without any problems, and she did so willingly. The best part would have to be the message. It tells of God’s love. My favorite page is a beautiful reminder of God’s love not only to children, but adults as well.

Once in a while, a problem will come. You may even fumble or stumble on some. But always be certain I’ll take every wrong and use it for good to help make you Strong!

There honestly wasn’t anything that we disliked about the book except, we wish it was a little longer.

A Love Letter from God is available for $12.99 from Ideals Children’s Books.  But they are having a sale. For the month of January, every book with the word LOVE in the title will be 20% off when you use the code, LOVE2015 at checkout.
